Q: Can I come to the clinic routinely to see the Primary Care Physician and/or Family Nurse Practitioner?

A: Absolutely! We’re not only an urgent care but also a primary care medical clinic. Instead of having to wait days to see your Primary Care Professional you can be seen when YOU need to be seen instead of waiting on availability. Since, medical needs do not follow a schedule, you don’t need to schedule an appointment.

Q: Does the clinic accept insurance?

A: Our clinic does not accept medical insurance. Cash or credit card payment only. Our facility regularly sees patients that have insurance, yet the individuals choose to come to our clinic and pay out of pocket, because of our competitive pricing and the out of pocket cost is more cost effective than their insurance co-pay.

Q: What age patients does the PCP and FNP see?

A: We see patients of all ages, from infants to seniors.

Q: Do I need to make an appointment?

A: We, at Upstate Total Care Clinic, understand that medical needs don’t follow a schedule, so no appointments are needed.

Q: Can the clinic perform x-rays?

A: We do not have an x-ray machine in the office but can refer our patients to a nearby imaging facility for x-rays, MRI, ultrasound, or CT scan if needed. Imaging results are often received within 24 hrs.

Q: Can the clinic draw labs?

A: Yes, we can complete any lab tests that are indicated. Lab results are often received within 24-48 hrs.

Q: Is the clinic able to give vaccinations?

A: We routinely administer flu shots and tetanus boosters. For other vaccines, please call and inquire.
